My bank card expired in April, I only realised that Last week. When somebody wanted to pay money into my bank. Capitec declined the deposit due to my expired card. Since Last week I went to the branch in Lifestyle centurion 4 times and visited the branch again today for the 5th time. Every time they said, they cannot help me, they are offline... Every time I have to put diesel in the van to go to the bank, with no response! I cannot afford to go in to the bank every day just not to get helped. Why block my account for incoming payments when my card is expired. Why did Capitec not contact me to inform me that my card is going to be expired? This is not acceptable for a bank to be offline... for days... Especially on month end.
