After paying off car in 2011 ABSA lost documents

I payed off my car loan with ABSA in 2011 and never received my original registration documents. I am now selling the car and urgently need these documents. After 3 phone calls of about 20min each (which I am paying for) the problem is anything but resolved. I eventually got hold of a manager who promised to phone me back, he never did. After I phoned him back a person from the call centre phoned me and told me to phone the archives.
I made it very clear that I needed the documents or at least a copy within 24hours, but ABSA could not even tell me where the documents were.
I have never received such bad service from a Bank before and intend to close my account with ABSA.
