POOR SERVICE AND RESPONSE

Put in a claim after accident. Took a week to assess the claim. Eventually they made a cash offer in lieu of repairing my car. The offer is ridiculous to say the least. Sent tons of email to management and responsible persons little or no beneficial response. The general manager fails to intervene and refers it to the claims person. Refuse to negotiate as no positive feed back is forth coming. They want me to repair my vehicle at their panel beaters. I want to repair at my choice of panel shop. The cash offer is R 20, 000-00 less than what my choice of panel shop has quoted. Wanted a copy of the assessors report, delaying in forwarding it to me, so that i can see where they have reduced the costs and the reasons for the reduction. Asked for them to reassess the claim but no response. I'm in Durban and their office is situated in George which makes communications difficult. Their failure to respond is construed as not willing to help or negotiate.
