My recent visit to the Aspen Hills branch of Life Day Spa turned out to be quite the opposite of my past experience at the Fourways branch. I had placed my trust in their brand based on my previous wonderful memories, but this visit was an unpleasant experience. The entire ordeal, starting from the reception, left me thoroughly disappointed. Not only was my treatment rushed due to their closing hours, but I also missed out on the opportunity to savor my wine and enjoy the fruit platter that we had planned to relish while celebrating a significant milestone. The level of service provided was nothing short of disheartening.
My husband and I arrived at 14:45 for our 15:30 scheduled treatment time to ensure we were punctual and had ample time to prepare ourselves. However, to our dismay, our initial treatment didn't commence until 15:45. I raised this delay with the hostess, only to be met with the excuse that they were still preparing. The overall reception we received from her was disappointingly cold.
What added to my disappointment was the fact that the Luxury Executive Couples treatment that I had paid for did not live up to its promises. Our treatments felt rushed and hasty, leaving me feeling that my hard-earned money and, more importantly, our precious time had been wasted when it was meant to be an enjoyable experience.
Based on my recent encounter, I would hesitate to recommend Life Day Spa to anyone.
