Our car was damaged by a third party. Their insurance company ETANA or AEON after months finally decided to take responsibility and assigned an assessor. I asked for the vehicle to go to Durban Panel Beaters to quote. Assessor insisted the car go to Ross Champion! Why I don't know? as Durban Panel Beaters does work for AEON. After the car sat at Ross Champion for a week, the assessor finally quoted and cut the repair by R 6000. The insurance company since said they would pay out a cash settlement! I then approached Durban Panel Beaters whom said they can do the job within the cash pay-out range and because I trust DPB as I have had work done there before I asked the car be released to them. ROSS CHAMPION now will NOT release the car as all of a sudden I have to pay for towing costs and 14 days storage?!!? This is because Ross Champion are not getting the job that they are trying to MILK the customer for anything! POOR SHOW! POOR BUSINESS ETHIC! DISGUSTING! I will get to the bottom of why my car had to be sent to you as opposed to my choice within the network and implications will ensue.
