I was involved in an accident and put through a claim. I took my car through to the assessor where it took over a week for them to get back to me with a qoute. I expressed to the assessor Peter that I would like my repair done by Watsons panel beaters. He said that would be fine so long as the qoute was the same as his assessement. Once receiving the assessment, Bradley in the claims department said to me that I could not use Watsons panel beaters as they were not on Telesures panel. I then mailed Bradley twice to explain to me why I was not able to do the repair at my choice of panel beater and I also requested a copy of my signed insurance contract with Telesure (auto and general) where it is stated that I would not be able to use my own panel beater. Bradley has ignored me and not responded. I then Mailed again asking if I could be settled cash in lieu of this claim and would bring the car back to auto and general after the repair for re-insurance purposes and once again no response. It has taken weeks to resolve my claim yet I cannot get a response from Telesure. I have accepted the qoute and the excess however either want my repair done at Watsons or I want cash in lieu
