A weeek has gone by (sorted out FICA requirements) & today I find that I still cannot use my credit card. Back to the branch & after waiting an hour, I get told that somebody has not lifted the block on my account, more paperwork & was promised a call to let me know if it was sorted out or not & no call back!! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! I also want to CANCEL my funeral policy & I am going to take my banking elsewhere. The waiting that you have to endure in an ABSA bank, at the enquiries counter is absolutely disgusting & really tries your patience!! After 15 yrs with ABSA & this is the treatment you get... I am not impressed.
