Just a mail to let you know that ABSA is the worst bank in the world and that I will never bank with absa again and I will make sure that my wife also close her account with ABSA. I have been a client for probably over twenty years, you just put my account on hold without notifying me because of the Fica requirements (I have fica my account when we had to, I wasn't aware that you have to do it every couple of years, no one let me know). The point is ABSA just block my account without informing me, withholding me from my money and therefore not allowing me to buy day to day food for my kids. After banking my whole life with absa, no one will phone me to say that my bank charges are extremely high or sell upgraded products to me in order for me to save money. No ABSA only cares about how much money they can make off their clients. ABSA is utterly useless and as said before, I will never ever bank with ABSA again, I will get my wife to close her account as well and I will never use a car facility, house or any facility that is under the ABSA umbrella again.
