No Internet Banking or Transfers, No Notification!

I have been an ABSA account holder for 10 years or more, and today I tried to purchase an item on my credit card and it was declined so I decided to check my Internet banking, and it has been locked and I have been denied access to my own accounts, denied the ability to transfer my own funds. I checked via my phone and the funds are available. All, without notification or warning.

I have people and bills to pay, and the disregard for my well-being is unpalatable. I am currently residing overseas, as a contract worker so dealing with face to face is not an option. I have been feeling sour towards ABSA lately when in January last I was visiting home and sorted out my details at the bank and received a new card and FICA compliance, and while inquiring about closing my account, I was promptly told that I cannot close my own account.

Why, has my account, out of the blue, been locked and the money frozen; without explanation?
