MY ACCOUNT WAS HACKED AND FUNDS WERE TRANSFERED FROM MY CREDIT CARD TO MY SAVINGS ACCOUNT AND THEN AIRTIME WAS PURCHASED AND THE BALANCE WAS TRASFERED OR DRAWN. I WAS TOLD AFTER REPORTING THE INCIDENT IMMEDIATLY THAT IT TAKES THREE TO FOUR WEEKS FOR INVESTIGATION TO TAKE PLACE. AFTER 3 WEEKS I GOT A CALL TO INFORM ME THAT IT WAS MY FAULT THAT THEY TOOK THE FUNDS FOR MY ACCOUNT AND THAT ABSA IS NOT LIABLE FOR INTERNET . I THEN TRIED TO ACCESS MY INTERNET BANKING, IT WAS BLOCKED DUE TO THE HACKERS TRYING ACCESS MY ACCOUNT AGAIN SO THAT BLOCKED IT BY NETERING THE INCORRECT INFORMATION. I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED TO SORT IT OUT AT THE BRANCH CAUSE IT NOT THE DEPARTMENTS PROBLEM. I THEN CLOSED MY ACCOUNT AND WENT TO ANOTHER BANK. ABSA, AFTER BANKING WITH THEM FOR 30 YEARS DIDNT EVEN REPSOND TO THE REASON WHY I WAS CLOSING MY ACCOUNT. THE RESPNSE WAS "AHH SHAME MAN". GREAT SERVICE :( NOT:( IN THE INTERIM I HAVE TO PAY THE MONEY BACK INTO MY CREDIT CARD. LIKE ONE IS MADE OF MONEY. REDICULOUS!!!
