Unhappy turnaround time of application submitted

I submitted my application 26 April 2013 to customer assist. I contacted the call center two to three weeks after the application and i was told that it was with the manager.
I called in two weeks after this (6 weeks post application) and was told that it was still in the queue.
According to my knowledge the TAT is 10 working days and yes, I know there is a backlog but darn it I cannot understand that one has to wait two to three months for a response or answer to the application.
The reason for my application is because of my financial situation which is critical.
I sent an email to customer assist queries 6/6/2013 and have still not received a response to date.
This is exceptionally bad service from a bank whom I have high regard for.
I am deeply dissapointed
