I have applied for Customer assist 21 days ago. Initially when I applied, the consultant Angel that I spoke to advise me that it will take up to 20 days to get back to me re the outcome of my application as they have a bit of a back log in the customer assist division- the normal time period is 15 days. When I phoned 21 days after my application has been submitted I get told that my application has been received but it has not been processed as they are only busy with the second week of July applications- that means they are three months behind with processing applications.
Customer assist is suppose to assist you with your debt, but with a three month back log how is this possible! I feel cheated and betrayed as the original agreement and on the application it states that it will take up to 15 days for a manager to contact you wrt the outcome of your application, now it will take THREE months!
When I phoned the customer complaints division and complaint the lady told me that someone will be in contact with my, within the next 7 working days- Seriously!!! What is happening with Standard bank? And to top it all, I am a prestige banker! NO SERVICE- SHOCKING!!!
