On the 19th April 2013, I submitted an application to customer assist which has 15 day turn around time in which to respond as stipulated on the application. I todate (2 months later) i have not received any response from them bar an email confirmation received from an automatic mail box. After numerous phone calls and an email which I have sent to the customer assist queries, I still haven't received a status update on my application. As for the Call Center they are absolutely useless and have no telephone etiquette, they are extremly rude and unhelpful. I am extremely dissappointed as I have opened my account with Standard Bank just over a year and currently banking Fnb for 17 years was considering the final switch to Std Bank once my app has been approved. Well, after this I can definitely assure you that I will remain at FNB if this is how the "Prestige" clients are serviced.
