Lack of Feedback and follow up on request

We have applied for a Virgin Money credit Card the application was completed on Wednesday 5 May 2013, It was confirmed with the consultant that we wished to get the card expediated as we needed it prior to leaving on a trip to China for 3 months on 12 June. The consultant said that this would be an additional R350 rand which we were happy with. They said they would be in contact with us in 24 to 48 hours to give us feedback on limits and whether a credit card was approved.By Friday afternoon 7 June, no such feedback had been given and therefore we phoned the call centre, the consultant noted that the credit card had been approved, however they were going to get back to us on where it could be expediated. No such feedback was received. We then phoned * June to find out if there was any news, based on our discussion with the consultant they noted, no request had been made for the card to be expediated and that they now weren't sure if this was possible, and they would get back to us again. We clearly need this card before Wednesday 12 June, however we are not sure if this will be possible. If we could get a definite answer that would be appreciated.
