My car was involved in an accident, my policy is a zero excess policy and has the car rental option.
The claim for repairs was approved quickly (no complaint here) but the car rental has been another story as I have had to take a car rental with an excess.
When asked how this was possible that a policy with zero excess attracts a car rental with an excess I was told that every car rental company has terms and conditions. The only exception is that I have to use the rental company that Indwe have an agreement with and this is Avis. When I pointed out that Thrifty for example had a zero excess plan I was told that Indwe have an agreement with Avis and First and both come with an excess.
Basically I was told to take it or leave it, although I pay for this option as it has been added to my monthly premium.
Neville is the only one who seemed to care and tried and who is a true ambassador for his brand. Although due to no fault of his own he was unable to sort this matter out for me - he actually did try and kept in telephonic contact with me.
Would I recommend Indwe to a friend or the person reading this my answer is No, because besides Neville they dont care a flying fish!
