It has taken the company I work for 2 and a half months to get a business account up and running with FNB.
We have opened the account via telephone conversation, I went into the Cresta branch to hand in all the documents they have requested. However some documents they do not accept. Problem is that one of the directors are overseas and living overseas. So the staff at FNB advised me to get a copy of a utility bill as where I have the lease agreement for where he lives and this is not good enough. Now they have told me that I need to fly the guy back to SA to come into the branch and confirm that the signature is his signature for them to activate the account. I have had no help in resolving the problem and no person willing to help. We are loosing business at this point as we cannot get the bank account up and running. This I must say is the worst branch ever when it comes to customer service. I am still waiting for a phone call from FNB to resolve this problem.
