YOU LOSE THE DOCUMENTS BUT IT IS MY PROBLEM

I applied for a new credit card online. it was approved and in order to activate the card, was told to take my FICA documents to the closest branch and collect the card. this I did. i then used the card, never actually received a statement and once i received a statement, it did not have any payment details on it. i then received notification that the account was in arrears. i contacted ABSA who then telephonically supplied the bank details for payment. i made payment and these then reflected. about a month later, i received an sms to say that the account had been blocked as no fica documents had been provided. i phoned the branch, who confirmed this was the case and also confirmed that they agreed it was impossible, but so be it. i then took a certified copy of my id and, being an email statement of account for a utility bill, had a commissioner of oaths stand next to me while opening the mail, viewing the statement and then certifying the document, to the bank. i was then told that the utility bill had to be uncertified... needless to say once i manage to get the account FICA'ed I will be closing it
