On the 19/07/2012 I took a policy for insurance cover on 2 vehicles with ONE Commercial Investment Holdings being the underwriter and ABSA Insurance Risk Managers being the insurer, Derek Livingstone at ONE created the policy. My premium was quoted at R922.76 per month which i agreed to and accepted. On the 03/05/2013 an amount of R1886.28 was debited from my account. I have emailed the consultants as per the information provided in the policy schedule [Email Removed] and [Email Removed] only to discover that the addresses were incorrect, I then attempted contacting their office on 0861863379 only to be advised that the company does not deal with short term insurance. I proceeded in attempting to contact Mr Derek Livingstone via email to no avail, to date i have had no response from him. Surely (in accordance with the FAIS act) I should have being notified of a premium increase prior to debit being actioned against my account and a revised schedule posted or emailed to me. This is a concern as I am not sure if my vehicles are still correctly insured. How can you trust such organisations as ONE or AIRMS when the information on their policy documents are incorrect??
