POO, BAD, PATHETIC SERVICE

I am working in Saudi, and upgraded to the platinum value bundle. I completed every thing online, then phoned them (on my expense from Saudi, as they cannot dial international numbers) and followed it all up with a email. I specifically required that the new credit card be send to OR Tambo branch and that it must be a VISA card. I only had 10 hours in Joburg as I was catching a connecting flight to Madagascar the next day.

With my arrival at OR Tambo airport 3 weeks later I went over to the ABSA branch at the airport, only to learn that the card is not there, it was send to Adderley Street, Cape Town... why, I have NEVER done business with them? Well, needless to say, I could never get this card in time.

But wait, it gets better, on my return to Cape Town another 2 weeks later, I went in to the Adderley Street branch, guess what... the card was there... but dont get happy yet, because... it was a Master card... why on earth did I have the option to select what brach it should be send to if they send it to the branch they decided, and why did I specifically ask for a VISA, when they just issue the Master card anyway???
