Almost a month ago, I upgraded my Cheque account and applied for a credit card. I received approval for my credit card almost immediately. I requested that it be delivered to the branch and not couriered to me. It was however sent via courier, which caused much inconvenience and frustration. The couriers were instructed to return the card to the Canal Walk branch, which they said they would do. That was 3 weeks ago. I have not heard anything from ABSA or anyone at the branch. I lodged a complaint on the website with no luck. I then received a courtesy call asking if my complaint had been rectified, and that was extremely frustrating.
I also do not think that it is fair that I should be billed for a credit card that I do not have in my possession.
I am now seriously considering ending my business with your bank due to this pathetic service. If it is not resolved soon, I will be left with no choice but to take my business elsewhere
