On 18th of April a deed of sale was signed for purchasing property in Gordon's Bay, Western Cape. The property's owners signed the contract and it was send to the attorneys office. The deal is a cash deal and the buyer had to include proof of full amount as per letter by the bank, which she did. The attorneys waited for the amount from Absa to able them to do the transfer. Yesterday (20 May 2013) we suddenly heard that this property was going up for action the next morning (21 May at 10:00). Minutes before the auction started, the Absa attorneys notified them to stop the auction. The sheriff decided to ignore the demand and the house was sold to someone else. The transaction number from Absa is 1532 / 2006.
