We are busy selling our house. We had a buyer that applied for Loans at all National Banks. Other Banks send out accesors to evaluate the property, and all said the house is worth more than were selling it for. Then it came to ABSA who didn't send someone out to do a evaluation, they did a so called desk evaluation, and under evaluate our house with R 400 000.00. The buyer is a ABSA Client and would like a loan from them. We lost the sale as we didn't want to drop the price as we were all ready bellow the value of the property. ABSA refused to send a assessor out to evaluate the property, properly. We need to pay to get the property evaluated by ABSA. This all happened a week before the buyer wanted to move in, we all ready signed to move into a rental place. Electrical Certificates were obtained. According to agents this happens a lot and only with ABSA. You cost us a sale, we had expenses to make sure house is in perfect condition. We still have to drive 200 km's every day, because we didn't move.
