Absa
Is Absa above the law?

My house was sold via the Rapid Auction Scheme. A partnership between Absa and Auction Alliance. The deal was the house would go on Auction. The bank would not accept less than R 680 000.00. The figure would be confidential as to obtain maximum price. Any outstanding money, the bank would pay half and I would pay off the other half interest free. The house was sold to an Absa employee for R 680 000.00. The offer came in before the Auction. So much for confidentiality. The sales agreement was done through Auction Alliance. The outstanding shortfall due to Absa was R 206 607 interest free. I asked the transferring attorney to use the occupational rent towards my outstanding balance. The buyers refused to pay the occupational rent. I was assured by the transferring attorney that by law the rent had to be paid and that transfer will not happen until the financials are in order. Somebody at Absa instructed the lawyers to go ahead with the transfer, breaking the law and leaving me with none of the -R 80 000.00 rent. I requested but never received the updated figures for the outstanding amount. ABSA has Black Listed me. According to lawyers that call me I owe Absa over a Million Rand.
