Cash Send with ABSA goes pear shaped

On the 31/08/2012 I sent 3 amounts of money via CASH SEND from my ABSA account in favour of my daughter (used her telephone number).
The money never reached her - as when she attempted to make the withdrawal from the ABSA ATM in the town of Philippolis something went horribly wrong with the first transaction - the machine gave her an error message saying that her transaction could not be processed.
I advised her to make no further attempts to withdraw against either of the other CASH SEND reference numbers provided.
At the time I was away on business, and although I did contact ABSA immediately with regard to the problem at the machine, it was only when I returned home that I went into the bank personally and attempt to resolve the problem.
One of the staff assisted me and provided reference number regarding to my query, but came back to me shortly thereafter advising that according to ABSA the money had been dispensed at the machine and so the case was closed.
She did however also advise me that I could contact the ABSA action Line and request that the ATM machine be balanced. I have attempted to make contact with them - but I'm having very little joy.
