On Thursday the 9th May 2013 I went to Thabong shopping complex at Sebokeng to withdraw some cash at one of the ATM's I used my card and entered my pin but to my surprise the was nothing coming out so immediately I cancelled the transaction and I didn't move from the ATM hardly a minute I received an sms R2000.00 was out of my account as I was still surprised as to what's going on another sms R1000.00 then R1000.00 from Pick n Pay was out about. I stopped my account REF: 001772309052013. I went to Evaton Plaza at Absa branch to log a complaint I spoke to Maleshoane and she told me that my card was "cloned" and my money would be refunded after 11days. The 13th day I to called the branch for the feedback as they didn't call or sms me regarding my query so I was told that their Forensic they saying they can't refund as the card and pin was used.
1. Why will I log a complaint if I withdrew the money
2. In that short period of time how on earth did I go to Pick n Pay because there's not even a Pick n Pay around that area
3. If I withdrew that cash how come the card didn't come out from the ATM... and which card did I use to swipe at "Pick n Pay"
I have investments with ABSA.
