I was double debited this week for a petrol transaction. I queried this on the online banking messaging system and received a message that an error had occured and that it would be reversed. I was surprised to see that it was reversed on the same day. That was excellent. However, I was then billed a transaction honour fee for an error which was not mines. I queried this again on the online banking messaging system. Unbelievably, I received a response saying that I needed to go to a branch to resolve this. What utter nonsense. Why should I get into my car and drive to a branch to resolve an issue which was brought about due to no fault of my own??? Just reverse the fee!!
