BAD SERVICE BY NEDBANK

On the morning of 29th April 2013 I went to the Nedbank ATM in Johannesburg Train Park Station to withdraw my money. The money did not come out, the slip came out written "E072 ACCOUNT RESTRICTED". I was shocked. On the slip my money was written there R12819-00. During the course of that day I tried more than 5 times to withraw, but unfortunately I am Nedbank's client, the money couldn't come out.

At my workplaced I called contact centre, phone went unanswered for several minutes, draining meagre resources I dan;t have. I then decided to call international contact centre numbers, which they responded swiftly. My phone was answered by another guy who told me that in order for me to get my money, I should go to the teller personally as my money in the account exceeded R10000-00. Anather jinx for poor man! I was told that I need to go with my card and gree bar-coded ID only they would be able to assist me. I decided to go during the May Day holiday, but was told as it is workers day all branches will be closed.

On the 2nd of May 2013, I went to the bank on my lunch time, when I got there I was told my account was now blocked, BY WHO? On which grounds? Only the bank knows.
