Online application for a Gold Credit Card

I've applied for a Gold Credit Card over the internet on 28 January. Today, I receive an email that reads like this:
"Online application for a British_Airways_Gold_credit_card, Good day Mrs My-Surname, We acknowledge the received application for the above mentioned however we cannot proceed with it due to that the product has been discontinued. Please note that you can only apply for a Gold Credit Card. We apologize for the inconvenience. For more information kindly contact 086 120 1000. Thank you for applying with STD Bank"

Knowing that I didn't apply for a British_Airways_Gold_credit_card, I called standard bank and before I could even tell the consultant what my problem is, the unhelpful consultant tells me that they are still busy processing it. Then I told her what the email says and unhelpful consultant says I must re-apply. She didn't even want to check on the system. I cannot re-apply because I'll use the same form that I used on my initial application and I may receive the same e-mail as above. Please help as I want to know the status of my application.

Also, I've been addressed as Mrs. instead of Mr.
