I recently applied for a credit card with Standard Bank and my prestige banker did the application. This month I see an amount of almost R500 being deducted as a finance charge. This was never highlighted to me by the prestige banker which is very sneaky of Standard Bank as she is a representative of Standard Bank. I am no longer sure why I even bank with them. I already know that there will be no remedy but rather some lame excuse and apology.
