I Hold a Prestige account status with Standard Bank, as well as make it a point to keep all my accounts from vehicle, credit, overdraft ect all with Standard Bank, all in good standing as well as my other accounts on my credit profile with all credit bureaus and my credit score is a healthy 850 points, and i have had a long term MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL relationship with them, and they the only bank i deal with. then i approached them for my first home, did the application with my Prestige banker and sent it in. to my horror they declined it, and worse of all with no valid reason.
my prestige banker tumi has been fighting it and trying to get a reason out of the home loans department but for 2 weeks no avail.
i am utterly disgusted to say the least and at the verge of changing banks because they have done nothing but disappoint me
