I am so "". Standard Bank must be administratively the most incompetent company is SA.

We were contacted by a debt collector (as Standard Bank sold my wife's apparent debt to them). The same debt that was settled through my advance account at Standard Bank. Transactions done and proof delivered by Standard Bank on 27 July 2011. So forget about the fact that the account was settled more than 2 years ago, it was sold as debt to a 3rd party...

I contacted Standard Bank and Mpho just responded. Reading must be a massive problem here. Secondly Standard Bank also have no respect for privacy. Why?

Well, the mail explain about the investigation, that we knew about it and all the legal. Attached a document as proof of debt.

Open the attached document and... The debt belongs to a Close Corporation (3 parties involved). Now how the BIG LETTER F do you pass someone else's debt to my wife? Great investigation!

So, I can see in 5 seconds that this was another administrative mistake by Standard Bank.
On the other hand...
Standard Bank do an full investigation and cant see that the have clients mixed up.

I rest my case!
