Selling paid debt

I must start by mentioning that Standard Bank must be the most incompetent bunch around.
First they got a judgement against me, which was rescinded due to some seriously questionable processes. They also granted me a loan in 2011 while under debt review, with no contract at all!
So the above mentioned was sorted.

Just got a ref that my wife's account was handed over to Norman Bissett & . We don't have debt so I phoned. The response is a shocker! Out of the advance account, my wife's current account was settled (28/07/2011). Transaction done by Standard Bank themselves!

Now, Standard Bank sold a debt book to Norman Bisset. With my wife's account on (that was paid in full). How incompetent can one company be, in all aspects? How do you sell a paid up account, to a debt collection company???

I am now going to contact Carte Blanche, Standard Bank would love the advertisement, with regards to the above mentioned.
