Unwarranted rude attitude and bad customer service

I had to wait for over 45mins in the check in line as there were minimal attendants. Upon check in i am suddenly informed the flight has been delayed for 2 hrs. Not am email/sms/phone call to notify me about this and the flight still says on time on the display board. i head to flight sales to explain my situation very nicely and how i have a lift collecting me to take me out of town, if i miss that lift i will be stranded at CT international. the attendant responds by saying that all BA flights have been delayed since yesterday due to the PE airport closing, but that they didn't know it would be delayed until last minute so that is why i was not notified. Complete contradiction if they knew all flights were delayed since yesterday?... i then plead again if he could possibly get me onto an earlier flight to which he refuses with some excuse that i booked a Khulula flight? i then explain that i will be stranded in CT to which he responds, "thats not my problem, i cant do anything about the flights being delayed."
Additionally, my flight to JHB on thursday evening was delayed by 40mins, however the airpine and all people working for them denied this saying the flight was on time.
