Their ad campaign says "The most South African airline", but should read "The most UNRELIABLE Airline" Flight BA 6431 from ORTambo to Capetown scheduled to depart 6.00 pm on Mon 1st April. Advised only at check in that flight was delayed by 2 hours!! to depart at 8.00pm. Then after boarding told that plane could not take off due to blocked toilets! Staff at BA ticket office were totally indifferent and rude saying that the inconvenience caused by the delay "was not their problem" BA enquiries line only open during office hours!! This flight delay was known by airline staff well in advance and should have been communicated to passengers via SMS as a matter of standard procedure. This happens too often with KULULA and British Airways. Despite Vitality discounts I will book with Kulula and BA only as a last resort... Getting my bicycle to Capetown and back for the Argus Cycle Tour was also a nightmare with KULULA. Bikes only accepted at Air Cargo necessitating 2 extra trips to ORT.
