I booked for 3 nights at the Hoopoe cottage in McGregor, starting Sunday night. I explained I could only arrive between 8 and 9 after a concert in Town and asked if the key could be left somewhere. This was apparently too complicated so I had to travel up the next day.
On arriving at the check-in time there was no one there and no key. After waiting 3 hours in the rain I gave up and luckily found another venue.
Safari now deducted a night's stay as I hadn't booked in time but refunded the rest. Nice of them since their extremely unprofessional venue owner, Bronwen Chuter couldn't even be bothered to turn up.
Don't pay via SafariNow if you can avoid it. I will never use them again. And of course don't book hoopoo or sunbird cottages :-)
