Double Booking

We booked holiday accommodation via safarinow only to be informed a week later after prompt payment of the required deposit, that the venue double booked us and is hesitant refund the deposit and claims that the double booking is our fault, which is impossible. In my view taking a deposit confirms the booking but in this instance the venue acknowledged that they made a double booking and claims that they have the right to keep the deposit. This is a total rip off and a. BE AWARE!!
