Checked in spontaneously on Saturday to leave on Monday with wife & 15 month old baby. Went to swim when we arrived at 6 pm in the Luke warm water then had a braai & still commented how nice this was & how excited we were to be there.
Woke up Sunday, got baby ready for swimming only to find pool 3/4 empty & cold. Walked all the way to Jacuzzis & same issue. Power was off & we brought no food & only our costumes to swim all day. Now with nothing to do & a very busy & irritable little baby we decided to rather go home. We asked for a refund, or at least half of it as that was not their policy just to be told tough luck they can't assist. On top of which everything is only in Afrikaans, so if you speak English or any other language for that matter it's very difficult to understand what is going on at this place.
We used to come here as kids & we were hoping to allow our children the chance to enjoy it, but clearly they are not interested in a family resort where kindness and compromise are key factors. We're truly disappointed in this resort we would've recommended previously!
