Poor communication

Hi,

i switched to FNB and became a paltinum card holder. Throughout 2012, i made use of the slow lounges and if i didnt qualify (R16500 deposit made into my account the previous month) i was told by the receptionist that i would have to pay for this service which i thought was very fair. I know R16500 deposit is always made into my account. During December i made use of the slow lounges 4 times and once in January and at no time was i told that i didn't meet the qualifying criteria and that i would be charged for these visits, i only became aware of this when my account was debited and i went into minus amounts, something i hate doing. I went into the branch and was told that I also need to have swiped my card for R5000 in order to qualify for this, this i wasn't aware of.
my extreme disgust here is that if i knew i hadnt qualified i would never have used the lounges as this was something that wasn't in my budget!!! I expect to have been told at point of entry that I hadn't qualified and that the visit was going to cost me in which case i wouldn't have used the facility. My account has been debitted and put me into a financial crisis
i do expect some form of compensation
