My family, and friends of ours made reservations to visit Forever Resort Loskopdam - in on 21 Dec 2012 and to check out on 26 Dec 2012.
Before our stay at the resort, we made specific enquiries with regards to day visitors, and, in two
Separate e-mails, were advised that NO DAY VISITORS WERE ALLOWED.
Much to our surprise, came Christmas Day - and the swimming pool (the only working one at the main complex, because the pump at the older swimming pool apparently broke and the swimming pool was green and smelt very, very bad for 2 days) was invaded by day visitors?
The pool was so full that there was no space for us to swim and spend our Christmas Day. We were paying customers who especially made reservations at a resort which did not allow day visitors because of previous bad experiences on public holidays. Upon an enquiry at reception we were advised that staff let day visitors in on Christmas Day by mistake.By mistake??? Surely this was not the first Christmas Day at Loskopdam? Is the staff not trained in the procedure for this time of the year?
Unfortunately we were left disappointed, hot and and frustrated on this day that was meant to be a special celebration.
