On 24/10/2013 I checked in my luggage at the Lanseria airport. My luggage was weighed at 23kg and then the check in assistant asked me, do I have a Kulula credit card, because if I have a Kulula credit card, then I don't have to pay extra for my luggage. I said no, but we are frequent, business travellers and have a travel account with Kulula. She then called the ticket agent Tebogo whom was very arrogant and insisted that I must pay R350 extra for my luggage. I have never experience this problem before and also not at any other flying company. Kulula's standards are inconsistent and caused me great embarrassment. Why is there two different systems. I don't have a Kulula credit card, because I don't need/want one, but then Kulula actually forces me to have one to enable me to not have to pay for my luggage, even if we have a very BIG Travelbank account!!!
