My daughter was booked for the unaccompanied minor programme on a flight BA 6224 (Briotish Airways). Her arrival time was 10:45. The plane arrived earlier. She was handed over to the pilot. Not protocol as she should have been accompanied by a female assistant She had to wait with the pilot outside the domestic arrivals. When I got to her, I was not asked for Identification or anything of the sort. I am gravely concerned regarding the unaccompanied minor programme. BA apologised to me and said they would investigate and get back to me. Obviously this is not a concern for BA as I have heard nothing since Saturday the 5th Ocotber 2013.
It is just not good enough to hand my child over to anybody. I AM FURIOUS.
