I applied online for a Schengen Visa on the 27 July 2013. I should have applied for a Spousal Visa, but mistakenly applied for a Tourist Visa. At the interview on the 2nd September I was told that I would receive R420 as I had overpaid and this reimbursement would be made within 1 week. The Company's policy re reimbursement is clearly spelt out on its website Reimbursement policy which inter alia states
"In case of overpayment, My-Europe-Visa will send a reimbursement form with the overpaid amount to the customer via the email address provided on his application form. Within 7 days of receiving the email, the customer must provide us with his/her banking details, sign the acceptance form and send it via
Email : [Email Removed] ..."
Despite numerous emails from our travel agent and myself as well as phone calls, no form was received by me nor any attempt made to contact me at all. I am beginning to feel that the staff are either incompetent, or that I am a victim of. I feel a need to warm others who might also make a mistake on the Schengen visa online application form..
