Myciti Bus Service
Myciti staff unprofessional and unskilled

I took the Myciti bus from Granger Bay to the airport. On arrival at the Civic Centre, I disembarked to load money on my card. I was let out to the paystation, by the Myciti employees, using their access card. On re-entering the station to wait for the bus to the airport, I asked the same employees to let me back in, and was told to swipe my card. I noticed R16 deducted off my card. The trip to the airport is already approx. R60. Being an infrequent user of the Myciti bus service, I enquired as to why R16 was deducted just to enter the station from the paystation 5 metres away. A lady then jumped in and, without introducing herself, rambled on to tell me that it was my fault, I was to blame and that I therefore had to pay the penalty. I explained that I am not a frequent user of the Myciti buses and she very condescendingly said that wherever I am in the world, if I don't know I need to ask. When I finally managed to get a word in, I asked who she was, and she then introduced herself as the station manager Washeelah Baker. I feel that people in public service jobs should have at least basic people skills and manners!
