MyCiti payment system terrible

Tried to catch the MyCitit bus from the Civic Centre in Cape Town to the Airport. I own a MyCiti electronic bus card, and knew they had eftpos facilities, so didn't worry when I realised I had no cash on me. Arrived with only a few minutes to buy my ticket before the bus left, to discover they accept cash ONLY!! Why have eftpos and fancy electronic ticketing systems if you're still going to make people pay in cash like it's 1950? As a result, I had to walk with all of my luggage a block away to get cash out, and therefore missed that bus. Here's hoping I don't miss my flight now as a result!
