Myciti is a money-making!

I lost my Myciti card and it had hundreds of money on it, I still had the receipt to prove that I bought the card in order to have my money transferred onto a new card. I called their call center but none of their consultants could help me, they just gave me a reference number to give to the cashiers @ their kiosks. When I got to the kiosks to report this matter they told me to go to Absa, @ Absa they told me that they don't deal with such. Basically no one could help...
I find it that you buy a card, continue pouring money into it in exchange for a continuous service, get billed for putting money into the card (which u've already bought) every time you pay for the service, and when you lose this card u've been "maintaining", nothing can be done about it!
To me, it's just and I feel like we, customers are being taken advantage of by this company, together with Absa. Our interests as Myciti bus travelers are not looked after at all..we are just maintaining the image of "the city of Cape Town" while our pockets get emptier. I won't even start about the buses not being on time, money disappearing off people's cards and the taping penalty. Mycity is here to TAKE TAKE TAKE!
