I have been a loyal member of rci for a few years, it was due to no luck of getting accommodation while being on waiting lists for a whole year that I decided to not spacebank my timeshare this year.
so, we utilised our points before they expired, and when looking for other accommodation, there was a spcial in clarens of 999 (kiara lodge) they refused to give us this accommodation because we did not spacebank this year - I don't understand why they would not allow a sale - almost like cut their nose to spite their face - they would rather make no sale - did I mention I was a member.
khense actually told me in the morning that it was available and after making bus enquiries and getting my kids ready, I called to pay that's when she said I didn't spacebank. I should try and find an rci member to help me out
after going through grapevines I had to offer an rci member a igher amount to help me out.
funny how rci has "rules" that you cant sell or buy but they push you to those limits.
I also called them to ask again where they transferred me to rentals and the guy said he sees ive chosen not to renew my membership
well, helloooo ive chosen not to renew because I don't get benefit
