Not a save place to stay and terrible afterservice

Booked with Etna's Accommodation a house in Arniston, "Pirats'Landing" and were broken into while sleeping. This house has no security system and no burglar bars on the main front windows facing the street. These windows have deteriorated and were effortlessly broken into. Police admit they have a problem in Arniston and don't know what to do. Etna's staff member advised when we checked out that there is such a problem; they are having cameras installed in all their houses. Why is unsafe accommodation offered to holiday makers if this is the case? On requesting our accommodation rates back from Etna's we were accused by a staff member of having been careless, trying to shift the blame!! Absolutely no service or duty of care by Etna's accommodation and the agency's owner, who is yet to get back to us personally!! Worst agency I've ever dealt with!!
