I feel that the dental benefit for new dentures on the Primary option at Bonitas is absolutely appalling.
This year it is now a four year period before a member can claim for new dentures.
Over the past three year it has gone from 2 to 3 to 4 years.
I suspect it will be five years next year.
The dentures benefit is useless as it currently stands.
Last year I was told my wife can claim in December 2014, now it is December 2015.
Her last set of dentures were claimed on 2 December 2011.
We now have to resort to having dentures made out of our own pocket.
We basically being robbed of our medical aid contributions.
Is there any other provider Bonitas can use other than DENIS which offers your member a better benefit?
