I have been trying for over 48hours now to have my number changed to pay as you go. This is obviously very difficult for MTN to get right as I have been told that now the technical department is faulty which is why my number has not yet been moved over completely to prepaid. I am also having problems with MTN charging me more that what I should actually pay because they did not cancel my upgrade correctly. So since January I have been back and forth between the call centre and the store to try to have things corrected, but all I've hit is a brick wall. The call centre staff are as much help as a primary school learner and the communication between the call centre and the store and the customer is shocking. I am very upset that the people I am dealing with do not know what they are doing, I am now sitting with a smart phone where I can only make calls and send text messages. This is very disappointing service from MTN.
