I saved up till i was able to take out a Blackberry 9900 on contract. when i finally did, less than a month of having my phone, the scroll key stopped working, and my phone would scroll at random.
i took it in to the repair center looking perfect, without a single scratch. after 3 weeks of waiting, using a beat up phone in the meanwhile, i had to place a call to the care center, to ask about my phone. i was told that my phone was ready. WHY WAS I NOT CALLED TO LET ME KNOW???
i go there, and fetch a 'refurbished phone' that has a bunch of scratches in it. just relieved to have a phone, i take it home. on arrival at home, the phone does not work. it refuses to add any BBM contacts. i take it back the next day- its a software problem. they fix it.
a day later, the scroll is not working. i call, and they say, 'up to 14 working days...' so for another 3 weeks, i am expected to sit with no phone?
2 x 14 working days is 6 weeks. i am paying for a phone that im not supposed to use for a month and a half? i never took the phone back, and i have been struggling ever since! it is appalling, to spend so much money for such service!
i will be leaving vodacom as soon as my contract ends!
